The summer transfer window is drawing to a close, and despite already splashing the cash, Liverpool are not finished yet.
Arne Slot's champions have forked out more than £300million to bring in Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Armin Pesci and Freddie Woodman. But they've also banked more than £200m in sales thanks to departures like Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhin Kelleher, Jarell Quansah and Ben Doak.
Fresh off a thrilling 3-2 win over Newcastle United, the Reds are still on the hunt for more signings as the window winds down. Sporting director Richard Hughes has been kept busy after Fenway Sports Group gave the go-ahead for a recruitment push in a bid to retain their Premier League crown - with all eyes on whether they can get a deal for wantaway Newcastle forward Alexander Isak over the line.
Even though they shattered their transfer record for Wirtz, there could be an even bigger deal in the pipeline. Here's all the latest transfer updates from Anfield.
Deadline set for Isak

Liverpool are running out of time to secure the signature of Alexander Isak from Newcastle before the transfer window shuts. The Reds haven't made a move since their initial £110m bid was turned down by the Magpies earlier this month.
And while 25-year-old Isak is keen on the switch, it's not straightforward, reports the Mirror. The Chronicle reports Newcastle will let Isak go, but only if they can find a suitable replacement in time and Liverpool meet their £150m asking price.
Eddie Howe's side are reportedly anticipating a second offer before the window closes on September 1, but there are still many factors at play.
Newcastle have had their eye on Brentford's Yoane Wissa and have also been linked with Wolves' Jorgen Strand Larsen, although their £60m valuation of the Norwegian has deterred the Magpies. And if Newcastle's inability to recruit a replacement continues, it could hamper the Merseyside giants.
Guehi's situation
Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace celebrates with the FA Community Shield after his team's victory in the 2025 FA Community Shield match between Crystal Palace and Liverpool at Wembley Stadium on August 10, 2025 in London, England.

Liverpool's long-standing interest in Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi is yet to be settled.
Palace have no intention of selling their captain before the second leg of their Conference League play-off against Fredrikstad on Thursday, but chairman Steve Parish has made it clear they will consider offers if the price is right, as they don't want to lose him for free next summer when his contract runs out.
Manchester City could compete with Liverpool for 25-year-old Guehi's signature, should they lose Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake in the coming days.
However, there's positive news from south London, with Palace reportedly eyeing Toulouse defender Jaydee Canvot as a potential replacement for Guehi.
Canvot would command a fee of €20m (£18m) and the 19-year-old has also piqued the interest of Aston Villa. If this deal goes through, Palace might feel more comfortable about letting Guehi go.
They've previously demanded £45m, while Liverpool have stated they won't exceed £35m.

Kostas Tsimikas, now third in line for the left-back position at Liverpool behind Milos Kerkez and Andy Robertson, seems likely to leave Anfield this summer.
While there was little movement earlier in the transfer window, things are now heating up for the Greek defender. Both Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport have reported on Roma's interest in Tsimikas, who they view as a potential back-up to Angelino.
The 29-year-old has also caught the eye of Marseille, prompting Roma to intensify their pursuit, with owner Dan Friedkin flying in for transfer discussions this week.

Liverpool are open to letting him go, but Roma are reportedly more inclined towards a loan deal, suggesting that a compromise may need to be struck.
And Tsimikas has long spoken of how content he is at Liverpool, despite limited playing time.
