‘Total agreement’ – Player finally accepts Wolves offer, travelling to England

Four days ago, we covered claims from Spain which stated Wolverhampton Wanderers had reached an agreement to sign Girona’s Ladislav Krejčí.

The English club made progress after offering €30m to Girona, which was impossible for the Spanish club to refuse.

On Sunday, the defender played the full 90 minutes in his side’s 5-0 defeat to Villarreal. Earlier that day, AS reported the situation around him was ‘crazy’, with him hesitant to leave the La Liga side for Wolves.

Journalist Nil Solà took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report the latest on Wolves’ pursuit of the centre-back.

He claims there’s ‘total agreement’ for the 26-year-old to leave the Catalan club. This development took place after the Czech Republic international said yes to the offer made by Vítor Pereira’s side.

Details of the Premier League club’s proposal aren’t mentioned, but it was enough for the player to finally accept it. The operation should be completed soon as he’s already said goodbye to his teammates.

Solà reports Krejčí is set to travel today to England, where he will undergo medical tests and sign a contract with Wolves. The official announcement should then follow.
