West Ham are among the teams weighing up a move for Marseille midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports in France.
L’Equipe claim that the Hammers could make an offer for the France international, who played in the World Cup final back in 2022.
Rabiot is on the transfer list at Marseille, having been involved in a brawl with his teammate Jonathan Rowe following the defeat to Rennes a couple of weeks ago.

It is believed that the 30-year-old is on the market for around €20m (£17m), making him an attractive target for Graham Potter’s side.
Marseille’s head coach has explained the Rabiot-Rowe incident
Roberto De Zerbi spoke out last week to reveal the shocking events that led to both players being made available for transfer.
It is believed the altercation started when Rabiot questioned Rowe’s performance in the loss to Rennes, and things escalated from there:
“I ask you this. What happens if, at your workplace, two people, two employees, two workers, two lawyers, get into a fight? It was a bar fight, in front of the sporting director, in front of the coach, with a team-mate on the ground (Darryl Bakola, who was suffering a medical emergency).”
“It’s true that no teeth were broken during the fight, but it was a fight like I’ve never seen in all my years in football.”
West Ham desperately need to strengthen the midfield
The 5-1 defeat to Chelsea on Friday night emphasised once again the weaknesses in the squad. Potter put on youngster Freddie Potts at halftime but that demonstrated the lack of depth in the middle of the park.
With Edson Alvarez joining Fenerbahce on loan, the Irons have very few options, so it is not surprising that Rabiot is under consideration, despite his questionable character.
It is believed the Frenchman has already been offered out to clubs, including Manchester United, and his availability for a relatively small fee means he could be snapped up quickly.
