Premier League’s young talents are rapidly making their mark, with players like Max Dowman and Rio Ngumoha setting new records for youngest debuts, goals, and assists. These rising stars from top academies like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea are poised to be the future of football, showcasing incredible skill and maturity beyond their years.

Here’s a look at five such promising youngsters:

### **Max Dowman (Arsenal)**

At 15 years and 235 days, Dowman became the second-youngest player in Premier League history, making his debut against Leeds. He came on as a substitute in the 5-0 victory, winning a penalty that led to the team's fifth goal. He joined the Arsenal academy at five in 2015 and made his debut for the Under-18 team at just 13. He also holds the record for being the youngest goalscorer in UEFA Youth League. A left-footed attacking midfielder who plays on the right, Dowman played for England U-16 team last year and was selected for the U-17 European Championship.

### **Rio Ngumoha (Liverpool)**

The 16-year-old became the fourth youngest scorer in Premier League history when he netted the winning goal in the 3-2 win against Newcastle - also making him the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool's history. He is the second 16-year-old to achieve the feat, after Wayne Rooney. Ngumoha joined Liverpool's academy in September last year after spending eight years at Chelsea's youth academy. In January this year, he became the youngest player to start a first-team game for Liverpool, in an FA Cup match. Ngumoha has represented England at youth levels and was part of the U-17 national team.

### **Estêvão (Chelsea)**

The Brazilian made his first Premier League assist in the 5-1 win against West Ham United, becoming the youngest player in Chelsea's history to do so, at 18 years and 120 days. His exploits with Palmeiras and his dribbling and flair have earned him the nickname "Messinho", and drawn comparisons with Neymar. Last year, Estevão became the fifth youngest player to represent senior Brazil team, when he came on as a substitute in their 1-0 win over Ecuador in a 2026 World Cup qualifier.

### **Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal)**

He is the youngest player to play in the Premier League, making his debut at just 15 years and 181 days, against Brentford in 2022. The 18-year-old Hale End product scored nine goals in 2024/25 season, and was the youngest player to score a goal for an English team in the Champions League knockout stages. Nwaneri recently won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship with England in 2025.

### **Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal)**
