Internacional have set their price for Ricardo Mathias, and it’s a clear one: €20m or nothing.
The 19-year-old striker, currently being monitored by Manchester United, is drawing interest from abroad, but Inter have already rejected a €13m bid from Al-Nassr, which Globo Esporte reported last Sunday.
The Saudi club made the first concrete move, but the response from Porto Alegre was swift and firm. As reported by local journalist Alexandre Ernst, Inter believe Mathias is worth more, and won’t entertain negotiations below the €20m (£17m) mark.
Despite a quieter performance in the Libertadores loss to Flamengo, the youngster remains one of Inter’s most valued assets in 2025. With five goals this season and a growing profile in Europe, his name is still active in the market.
Manchester United’s interest, reported earlier this month after a live scouting mission at the Maracanã, serves as a backdrop to the current negotiations.
For now, Inter are holding their ground, but should a bid hit the asking price, the situation could change quickly.
