Midfielder **Soraya Walsh** came on as a second-half substitute to help Watford on their way to a first victory of the Women’s National League Southern Premier Division campaign on Sunday.
The Hornets clinched a 2-0 success at home to Plymouth Argyle through two strikes from Madison Perry either side of half-time.
Following her first Watford goal last Wednesday night, Hammers loanee Walsh entered proceedings in the 75th minute at Kings Langley’s Orbital Fasteners Stadium to help her side maintain their two-goal advantage.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper **Rebekah Dowsett** was an unused substitute in the clash.
With four points to their name from their opening two league matches, Watford travel to AFC Wimbledon on Sunday looking to record back-to-back wins.
Elsewhere, **Ruby Warwick**’s Barking picked up three points on the opening day of the London and South East Regional Women's Premier Division season courtesy of a 2-1 victory away at Millwall Lionesses on Sunday.
Warwick was named as a substitute as Asanteni Charles bagged a brace to ensure Mia Lockett’s goal four minutes from time was only a consolation.
Barking will hope to continue their positive start to the campaign with a victory at Sutton United on Wednesday night.
