Veteran QB says ‘I just got cut from the NFL for the 7th time’ beer is one of the best

Veteran NFL quarterback Ben DiNucci had a sense of humor after being cut by the Atlanta Falcons over the weekend.

The Falcons cut DiNucci on Saturday and later that day he posted a picture of a beer in the airport with a hilarious caption.

"Not many beers better than the airport ‘I just got cut from the NFL for the 7th time’ beer,“ Ben DiNucci posted on X. ”Trust me , you wouldn’t understand."

Ranking beers is a common practice, with beach beer, lake beer, shower beer and tailgate beer being some of the more popular types.

Not many people get to enjoy a beer right after getting cut in the NFL, but apparently it is a pretty good one, too, according to DiNucci.

The 6-foot-2 quarterback played high school football in Pennsylvania, before starting his college career at Pitt. He spent his final two seasons of college football at James Madison, before being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

DiNucci has spent time with the Cowboys, Broncos, Bills, Saints and Falcons during his NFL career. The 28-year-old was 0-2 passing with an interception during the preseason.

For his NFL career, DiNucci has appeared in three games, all with the Cowboys during the 2020 season. He was 23-of-43 passing for 219 yards that season.
