Alleyne started the first senior league game of his career in the 1-1 draw at Swansea on Saturday and fared well, growing in confidence as the game played out.

His passing range is one of his best attributes, nurtured at City's academy, and he is excited to demonstrate those skills more in the Championship.
Alleyne told the club website: "Since I joined, the manager has been so clear about what he wants and that suits my game so much.
"We know that we can exploit spaces in behind. We have such good athletes here that are always going to be there to make runs.

"That makes it so easy as a player to find those passes."

He said: "It was exciting when I was on the journey here.
"My family are already proud, and I knew that I could come out here and show what I can do. Excitement was the main feeling.

"It was a tough game, I'm not used to a game like that.
"I'm really proud of the boys, we stuck together and worked really hard.
"I think we deserved to win as we were the better team. When you’re 1-0 up it’s tough, because they are chasing the game."
