Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson is set to join Bayern Munich on loan, after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old forward has been overlooked in Chelsea's first two Premier League matches this season, with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap being preferred.
Last season, Jackson netted 13 times in 37 appearances for Enzo Maresca's side, adding to the 17 goals he scored in his debut campaign. Aston Villa and Newcastle United have also shown interest.
While Chelsea are keen to sell Jackson, they may have to settle for a loan deal, with Bayern hopeful of finalising an agreement before the transfer window closes.
According to BILD, Jackson has agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga champions. If Chelsea and Bayern can agree on the structure of the deal, it could be completed quickly.
Chelsea were hoping to recoup at least double the £32million they paid for Jackson in June 2023, with the player still having eight years left on his contract. However, Bayern are more interested in a loan deal for the Senegal international.
Jackson's potential departure could open the door for Chelsea to make late moves for Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United and Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, both of whom are keen to join the Blues.
Chelsea reportedly expected to secure deals for both Garnacho and Simons before the window closes, which could push their summer expenditure beyond £300m for the third summer in four.
Similar to Jackson's situation, Christopher Nkunku is also expected to depart Stamford Bridge ahead of Monday's transfer deadline, with Bayern Munich and Aston Villa both pursuing the France international.
Head coach Maresca commented last week: "Christo is with us like Nico, but it's the same answer as Nico. We'll see if they're going to be here.
"It's always better if they find a solution, as they are going to be more happy - and the club the same. But you need someone that is going to buy you. It's not so easy."
