Patriots 53-Man Roster Cutdown Day Tracker

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel’s training camp is officially in the books. Now, New England has until 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday to reduce its roster to a maximum of 53 players on the Active/Inactive List.

As of Tuesday morning, the team’s roster stands at 76 players following the Friday releases of: LB R.J. Moten, RB Micah Bernard, TE Cole Fotheringham, DT Kyle Peko, RB Shane Watts, QB Ben Wooldridge, WR Phil Lutz, LB Monty Rice, IOL Sidy Sow, DT Philip Blidi, CB Jordan Polk – TE Jaheim Bell, CB Isaiah Bolden, and IOL Tyrese Robinson.

Once cuts are made, the Patriots have until 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday claim players on waivers, who must be added to the 53-man roster. New England has the fourth waiver claim, corresponding with the 2025 NFL draft order.

Once waivers are filed and complete, teams can begin building their 16-man practice squad, or 17 with a member of the NFL’s International Pathway Program. Of those players, at least 10 must be rookies or second-year players

This list will track all roster moves made by the team to trim and fill its roster.
