Southampton’s transfer business isn’t finished yet and EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal the Saints have launched a £10million bid for a Premier League winger.
Will Still is looking for reinforcements in multiple areas of his squad before the end of the transfer window, including another striker. That’s despite the Saints signing Damion Downs for £7million earlier this summer.
Versatile winger Tyler Dibling is the latest player to leave, joining Everton for £35million plus £5million in add-ons on Monday.
Southampton have already begun looking for replacements for him, and EFL Analysisunderstands the Saints have already had a bid for a new winger with plenty of experience in the English Football League rejected.

Exclusive: Crystal Palace reject £10million bid for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi
EFL Analysis’ Chief Football Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, says Crystal Palace have rejected a £10million bid from Southampton for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
He would be a perfect replacement for Dibling, and Bailey understands the Saints are likely to go in with another offer for the winger.
Rak-Sakyi, a former Chelsea and Crystal Palace youth player, has had two senior loans since 2022.
He first went to Palace’s London rivals Charlton for a season in League One, before signing for Championship Sheffield United last campaign. He scored seven goals in 36 appearances for the Blades in their run to the play-off final.
The 22-year-old is currently surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park, failing to come off the bench against Chelsea in the Premier League or versus Fredrikstad in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, so would benefit from another loan to get game time.

Will Still has plenty of business to do before the transfer window shuts
Southampton announced the signing of back-up goalkeeper George Long on Monday, but the Saints still have plenty of work to do this summer.
The Saints are still interested in Finn Azaz, who was the subject of a rejected bid according to Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards.
Joshua Quarshie, Mads Roerslev and Downs are the only other additions that have been made so far.
Still himself has recently admitted there are still transfers in the works, and the 2-1 loss at Stoke will have emphasised the need for them even further.
