Former Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney has sent a warning to the Premier League club over a crack that has surfaced from the 2024-25 campaign.
The Red Devils are only two Premier League matches into the 2025-26 season and manager Ruben Amorim is already facing the heat in the Old Trafford dugout.
Manchester United lost 1-0 to Arsenal in their opening Premier League match of the new campaign, despite putting on a strong attacking showcase at Old Trafford.
Fast-forward from United’s Premier League result against Arsenal to the previous weekend and the Red Devils picked up their first league point of their season.
United and Fulham played out a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage on Sunday, but the Red Devils could have secured three points had it not been for their wasted chances.
Bruno Fernandes blazed his penalty effort over the bar in the first half and Matheus Cunha hit the post early in the Premier League contest between United and Fulham.

Wayne Rooney identifies two major concerns for Man Utd in the 2025-26 Premier League season after their 2024-25 campaign
Manchester United are 16th in the Premier League table after their opening two matches and the Red Devils have two difficult fixtures coming up in September.
The Red Devils will travel to the Etihad on 14th September to face crosstown rivals Manchester City before United host Chelsea at Old Trafford on 20th September.
United manager Ruben Amorim is now under immense pressure to pick up Premier League points after the mixed results against Arsenal and Fulham this season.
Wayne Rooney has now admitted after the 1-1 Fulham draw that he was once again “seeing” United commit the same mistakes from their woeful 2024-25 season.
The BBC pundit highlighted that United players were “walking” and the Red Devils showed their frailty with how “easy” they were to play against in the Premier League.
“We’re seeing things we were seeing last season,” he said on The Wayne Rooney Show, as per BBC Sport.
“I hoped all the mistakes, players walking and being easy to play against at times would have gone, but that was a bit of a worry.”

Wayne Rooney makes a powerful assessment of Man Utd under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford amid the new Premier League season
United hit an all-time low in the Premier League in the 2024-25 campaign at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils suffering a disappointing 15th-place finish in the table.
Amorim struggled to turn around United’s form in the Premier League last season after he left Sporting CP and replaced Erik ten Hag in the Old Trafford dugout.
United legend Rooney has said there are “no excuses” protecting Amorim and the Red Devils boss could find himself under “pressure” if results don’t swing his way.
“There are no excuses now for the manager this season,” he continued.
“He’s got to start getting results and get the results quickly because once you start getting into October and November, if the results don’t change drastically, then that’s where the pressure comes.”
