Our Under-21s get their Vertu Trophy campaign underway with a trip to Bristol Rovers tonight (Tuesday 26 August, 7pm UK, live on Sky Sports+).
It’ll be our second visit to the Memorial Ground in as many seasons after we played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Rovers in this competition last term, before winning the resulting penalty shootout 6-5.
We’re in Southern Group B this time around, with Cheltenham Town and Plymouth Argyle also in the mix.
The game follows a busy opening week of the season for Wayne Burnett’s side, which saw us win 5-3 at Sunderland last Monday before slipping to a 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace on Friday.
Tonight’s match is another opportunity for our young professionals to test themselves against senior opponents from the Football League, and it promises to be a challenge with Rovers having kept back-to-back clean sheets at home in their last two League Two fixtures.
Supporters based in the UK will be able to watch the game live – and every game in the Vertu Trophy this season – on Sky Sports+.
Tickets are available via the **[Bristol Rovers ticketing website](https://www.eticketing.co.uk/bristolrovers/EDP/Event/Index/363)**.
Live text updates will also be available **[via our Match Centre](https://matchcentre.tottenhamhotspur.com/cards/Home?gameId=2597647)** here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app.
