Insider Reveals Why Jonathan Kuminga Hasn’t Accepted Warriors’ Offer

The Golden State Warriors have extended a new contract offer to Jonathan Kuminga, but he has not yet signed it.

Why is that, and what is holding him back from returning to the team in the new season?

According to Brett Seigel, the only reason Kuminga hasn’t accepted the Warriors’ offer is that he truly does not want to come back to the team.

The current offer is a two-year, $45 million deal with a team option and no trade restrictions.

Will Kuminga change his mind, force a better offer, or move to another team?

And, more importantly, when will this situation get resolved?

Kuminga has been public and honest about his desire to do more work for the team.

He doesn’t want to be a second option any longer and hopes to perform for a squad that values him and treats him like a starting player.

He probably isn’t going to get that with the Warriors, so he is well within his rights to plan for a move.

But the Warriors aren’t making it easy, and they are offering him something, it’s just not a lot.

There has been interest in Kuminga all over the league, most notably from the Sacramento Kings, but no deal has come together.

Most analysts predict that he will probably sign a short-term contract with the Warriors but will remain a trade target before the deadline in February.

But what happens until then?

Will Kuminga contribute to this team even though he doesn’t want to be there?

Will head coach Steve Kerr turn to Kuminga more often?

This situation has been developing for weeks now, but there is still a lot we do not know.

However, what we do know is that Kuminga no longer wants to be with Golden State.
