Newcastle's wantaway forward has reportedly told the club he still wants to join after holding crunch talks with the hierarchy.
The Sweden striker has already over his future and on Monday he held discussions with top figures in an attempt to find a solution to the ongoing transfer saga.
Isak has not trained with the squad this summer after refusing to jet out to their pre-season tour of Asia and has continued to exile himself from Eddie Howe's group since the start of the season.
And according to the , Isak - who scored 27 goals last season - has insisted he is determined to remain on strike until he gets his move to Anfield.
Newcastle chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan led a delegation of Public Investment Fund chiefs, including co-owner Jamie Reuben, who met with Isak at his house this week.

The pair went into the meeting hoping to strike a deal with Isak that would lead to him returning to the squad, but there was no progress in their desire to bring him back into the team, the report says.
It adds that Isak has vowed to stay on strike until he is granted an exit from St James' Park or the transfer window shuts. Isak has already missed Newcastle's first two games against and Liverpool and looks likely to be absent for their next clash against Leeds this weekend.
Liverpool have already had a £110m bid rejected for the Sweden international and are ready to test Newcastle's resolve again, the report adds, but they are waiting to be given more encouragement by the Magpies.

But Liverpool are also unwilling to make a new offer if there is no chance of it being accepted, with no chance of the club paying anything close to the £150m being touted by Newcastle.
Liverpool have already splashed out around £300m on four huge signings and their PSR budget will be stretched if they sanction another big incoming deal.
A deal, therefore, looks unlikely to come to fruition - with Newcastle also needing to sign at least two strikers before they consider selling Isak. The club are currently pursuing Yoane Wissa from Brentford and star Jorgen Strand Larsen but have seen bids rejected for both players.
It adds Public Investment Fund's majority stakeholders will make the final decision on Isak's future after being put under "intense" and "unexpected" pressure by the transfer saga.
This week manager Eddie Howe and captain Bruno Guimaraes called for an end to the ongoing uncertainty either way to allow the team to focus on their task for the rest of the season.
