Leicester City have been handed a huge boost when it comes to keeping star man Bilal El Khannouss.
Crystal Palace looked set to sign El Khannouss for £32m and a deal was expected to be confirmed after the Eagles sold Eberechi Eze to Arsenal.
El Khannouss missed Leicester’s win against Charlton Athletic after Marti Cifuentes felt it was best to take him out of the limelight due to the ongoing speculation.
However, in a fresh update from Sky Sports correspondent Rob Dorsett, the Foxes have been given a huge boost in their chances of keeping him.

Leicester no longer need to sell due to PSR fears
PSR has dominated Leicester’s summer as they attempted to clear out the high earners and those surplus to requirements.
James Justin’s £10m move to Leeds United was the latest of those and as a result, Dorsett has revealed that the Foxes no longer need to sell El Khannouss.
The Sky Sports reporter stated that the Morocco international’s move has collapsed and now Leicester want in the region of £35m or more to consider selling their attacking midfielder, which Palace won’t pay.
Leicester can finally focus on signing players
The news of Leicester being out of PSR trouble will be welcome news to all supporters as the Foxes gear up for a huge end to the transfer window.
Asmir Begovic is their only arrival so far but with a Jamie Vardy replacement a priority and the likelihood of the left-back slot needing extra cover due to Victor Kristiansen being linked with Nottingham Forest, there may finally be some fresh faces at the King Power Stadium.
There is less than a week of the window to go. Let’s see what Cifuentes will do now.
