No one knows when Irving will be back on the court with the Mavericks.
He was taken out with a serious knee injury last season, and the team has remained quiet about his return.
Some analysts predict he could be back in January, while others believe it’ll be after the All-Star break.
And others, including Irving himself, have urged caution, suggesting that he might not return at all in 2025-26.
That’s a huge problem for the Mavericks because they need Irving now more than ever.
They are still trying to put together a strong identity without Luka Doncic, and they see Irving as a cornerstone of the team.
They have Anthony Davis, Cooper Flagg, and others, but Irving might still be the most important part of the Mavericks.
