Deal there to be done if West Ham want it – Club will definitely sanction sale

Feyenoord are more than open to selling Quentin Timber this summer but are yet to receive any concrete offers from West Ham United or anyone else.

That’s according to journalist and Feyenoord watcher Martijn Krabbendam, [via Voetbal Primeur](https://www.voetbalprimeur.nl/nieuws/1686010/krabbendam-vertelt-over-timber-en-bilal-tour.html), who reports that there’s a deal there to be done for West Ham if they want it.

Timber has been linked with a move away from Feyenoord for much of the summer as he’s currently in the final year of his deal at the Dutch club.

A report in the Netherlands earlier this month made it clear that he does not intend to leave on a free transfer and would prefer to secure a deal this summer for a good price. If not, he will sign a new deal and leave in a year’s time.

That same report made it clear that he fancied a move to the Premier League and pointed to rumours about West Ham. They did, however, state that nobody at Feyenoord has been able to pinpoint where the West Ham rumours have come from up to now.

Krabbendam pretty much backs that up but insists there’s a deal there to be done for anyone that does want it.

“If the opportunity arises, Feyenoord will sell him; they still have a chance. Currently, no one has approached Feyenoord, perhaps even his agents,” he said about the matter.
