The Washington Commanders gave fans a glimpse of what they could do last season.
Now, with another full training camp under his belt, quarterback Jayden Daniels might take them all the way.
Two-time champion Damien Woody recently made his case for the Commanders to win the NFC.
“Super Bowl,” Woody said when asked about the Commanders’ ceiling. “When you have [Jayden Daniels] as the centerpiece, they’ve upgraded the offensive line, you trade for Deebo Samuel, it all adds up to the Washington Commanders being one of these teams in the NFC representing that conference.”

Washington surprisingly made it to the NFC Championship Game last season.
Daniels looked like a generational talent and took the league by storm as a rookie, but his connection with offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury also played a big part in that.
They enter this season with an elite reinforcement in left tackle Laremy Tunsil, and adding Samuel to the mix was also a major move.
Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that the Commanders may have a much tougher schedule this time around, and they still have some doubts on defense.
Signing Terry McLaurin to a contract extension was a win for the front office, but there are still some flaws in the pass rush that Von Miller might not be able to solve.
The Commanders will be one of the most entertaining teams to watch this season, and Woody’s prediction might not be far-fetched.
