Fulham authorise player to travel – Medical and formalities to leave the club

Andreas Pereira’s move from Fulham to Palmeiras is now complete, with [**ESPN Brazil**](https://www.espn.com.br/futebol/mercado-da-bola/artigo/_/id/15595265/andreas-pereira-palmeiras-fecha-contratacao-aguarda-chegada-brasil) reporting that all details were finalised on Tuesday afternoon.

The 29-year-old midfielder is set to sign his contract electronically today and has already been authorised by Fulham to travel to Brazil, where he will undergo medicals and complete the final steps before being officially unveiled.

Palmeiras, as a policy, are not confirming anything until the signature is processed, but sources insist the agreement is closed.

The deal is worth €10m (£8.4m), the same figure reported in recent days, and marks the end of a long chase by the São Paulo side.

Palmeiras first tried to sign Andreas back in January, when negotiations fell through at the final stage. This time, the player reached a verbal agreement days ago and will sign a four-year contract.

Andreas is now expected to arrive in Brazil on Thursday to be presented as Palmeiras’ newest reinforcement. For the club, it is a long-awaited signing to replace Richard Ríos and strengthen Abel Ferreira’s squad for the remainder of the season.
