Eberechi Eze seems to have settled in at Arsenal very quickly.
Geographically, the England international only had to move from south London to north London following his £68m switch from Crystal Palace, but life at the Emirates Stadium represents a different beast to how things were at Selhurst Park.
Eberechi Eze must now attempt to fend off competition from some of the best in England to earn a place in the starting XI under Mikel Arteta – as the Gunners aim to win the Premier League title – but the new Arsenal No.10 does not look fazed by the challenge judging by his apparent mood in training.

Crystal Palace fans will tell you Eze was probably the smiliest player to ever appear for them, and the man born in Greenwich looks even happier after sealing his dream return to Arsenal.
The 27-year-old could be seen in several photos with a beaming smile on his face, while his relaxed attitude was best shown in a picture of him and Declan Rice.
It showed the £68m man leaping on the back of the Arsenal No.41 – who he has previously played 11 games with for England.

Rice has previously hailed Eze – shortly after the 2025 FA Cup winner made his England debut.
The £105m man called the attacking midfielder a “wizard” back in 2023 when asked by England on TikTok to describe his teammates in one word.
His wizardry could now help Rice become even more impactful in the final third, following a 2024/25 campaign where Arsenal’s record signing impressively scored nine goals and provided ten assists in 52 appearances.

Not only do Eze and Rice already seem to be close, but the new arrival also admires another one of his fellow midfielders in Martin Odegaard.
Eze praised Odegaard and Bruno Fernandes when speaking to Sky Sports back in November 2023, saying: “I watch these players and they’re highly creative. I would say my style is different to them, but I enjoy watching them for sure.”
A midfield trio of Rice, Odegaard and Eze has a bit of everything, and if Arteta can make the triangle click, it could well fire Arsenal to the Premier League title.
