A couple of days ago, we covered claims from Spain which stated Leeds United’s Largie Ramazani had agreed personal terms for a loan to Valencia.
The Spanish club were eager to wrap up the transfer as soon as possible, so the 24-year-old could be made available to manager Carlos Corberán quickly. Tuesday newspaper reports from Spain then reported an outline agreement between the two clubs which would allow Ramazani to move on loan for the rest of the season.
There was, however, one sticking point. Valencia were very keen on negotiating a purchase option for the attacker, so they had the chance to buy him next summer for a fixed price if he impresses.
Leeds United were set against that, and it looks like the Premier League club have stuck to their guns.
Spanish journalist Germán Muñoz, who works for El Chiringuito, reports Valencia have given in and don’t want to push further in negotiations. They’ve accepted not having a purchase option and therefore the loan can be concluded soon.
