Bye Bye Malachi, Corley and Bernard-Converse Among Jets Cuts

Jet News

Carter Warren

Like a loosely held football falling to the ground before crossing the goal line, the Jets have dropped wide receiver Malachi Corley as they trim their roster down to 53.

The former third-round pick didn’t even make it to his second pro season with the Jets after one very forgettable rookie campaign. His release comes after rumors surfaced of Corley being a difficult personality to deal with in the locker room.

Along with Corley, the Jets have moved on from the following players, none of which are officially official at this point, but are being reported by multiple outlets.

CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse

OT Carter Warren

CB Jordan Clark

DE Eric Watts

WR Brandon Smith

WR Quentin Skinner
