Report: Southampton’s Tyler Dibling clause ‘is not’ what’s been reported as Everton truth shared

Tyler Dibling has come with an incredible fee for a 19-year-old, but the deal looks better than it seems.

The winger comes with a very good potential, one of which could see him rise to the top in an Everton shirt.

Every youngster needs a good man manager, and Dibling has one of the best in David Moyes.

The Scotsman will take care with the former Southampton star, as Dibling has had comparisons to Paul Gascoigne.

£40 million is a staggering fee for a teenager, but The Friedkin Group have managed something even better with the overall transfer.

Southampton’s Tyler Dibling’s sell-on clause in Everton deal ‘is not as high’ as 20%

Previously, it was stated that Southampton have a 20% sell-on clause in Dibling’s transfer.

This means that the Saints would be owed 20 per cent of whatever Dibling’s fee is, but only if he is sold in the future.

Everton could see their earnings from a future sale decrease because of this, which potentially shows why the Championship side agreed to the £40 million fee.

However, The Athletic have been told that it is ‘not as high’ as the 20 per cent figure reported, therefore the Toffees will gain more profit if he is sold in the future.

There is certainly a high chance of this happening after what the Saints had previously done, as Everton have clearly made this move for more reasons than one.

Everton could have future £100m player on their hands with Tyler Dibling

This works out nicely for the Toffees, as The Friedkins have managed this deal very well for an exciting talent from an early age.

The 19-year-old still has plenty to learn, but after emerging as one of the most intriguing prospects in the Premier League last season, it bodes well.

Previously, Dibling was valued at £100 million, and if that is a previous value, he has every chance to reach this promise, as these sorts of figures don’t come out of nowhere.

Dibling has got stuck straight into life at Everton, as the road to achieving his potential could start on Wednesday against Mansfield Town.

It’s an exciting thing to think someone in the squad could be worth £100 million, and if a future exit does happen, Everton would no doubt smash their record departure, but for now, it’s time for Dibling to shine in Royal Blue.
