Leeds United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup on penalties after a 1-1 against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.
Leeds were looking to bounce back from their 5-0 defeat to Arsenal in their Yorkshire derby.
However, just after the hour mark, Karl Darlow converted the ball into his own net after Jamal Lowe’s close-range shot.
Jayden Bogle then netted the equaliser with 10 minutes to go with a close range shot to take the match to penalties.
However, Sheffield Wednesday then managed to win the shootout to knock Leeds out in the second round.

Karl Darlow fails to impress vs Sheffield Wednesday
Despite having nothing to do for the majority of the match, Darlow still found a way to make a mistake.
Given the signing of Lucas Perri at Elland Road, the goalkeeper would have wanted to impress Farke.
However, with Leeds dominating the ball, the Owls had a rare attack, which then saw Lowe have an effort from close range.
Despite it being straight at the goalkeeper, it somehow deflected off the Welshman and into the net.
While many players were awful against Sheffield Wednesday, Darlow ultimately cost the visitors the win.

Jayden Bogle a positive in Carabao Cup defeat
In a match of few positives, Bogle was one of the highlights for Leeds.
The full-back came onto the pitch in a game lacking serious quality and found the net with an excellent finish.
With Leeds’ signing of James Justin, Bogle no doubt has to prove himself to Farke if he wants to stay in the starting XI.
Yet, despite the poor display, the 25-year-old can hold his head high in a solid display from the bench.
