Olive Garden is joining in the chorus of congratulations following the engagement of pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce.
The Italian-American restaurant chain wasted no time celebrating the couple's major milestone on social media. Cropping the couple's silhouettes from their stunning engagement photos and photoshopping them in front of the restaurant, the caption casually and brilliantly emphasized, "Just another Tuesday night at Olive Garden… 🍷💍"
Fans immediately chimed in, complimenting the chain's take on the engagement news, and eating their happy feelings in breadsticks.
"Woww, fav couple at my fav dine-in restaurant!! 💫💫," one wrote, as another Swiftie added, "OMG we should all celebrate at Olive Garden tonight!!!"
"This and never ending pasta coming back in the same week is the best thing that's ever happened to me," another fan wrote, as another chimed in, "Endless love and endless pasta 🍝🥹❤️🔥 @olivegarden." The comments referenced the chain's "Never Ending Pasta Bowl" promotion, returning from now through Nov. 16. The deal, boasting a price that's stayed the same since 2022, allows customers to order all of the apps (soup or salad), breadsticks and pasta they can eat for $13.99.
Some comments riffed on Swift's most popular songs, including the Love Story reference, "It's a loaf story, just say bread," as a few suggested the famous duos reception should be at Olive Garden because, when you're there, you're family.
On Aug. 26, the celebrity couple stopped the internet in its tracks by revealing their plans to spend their life together, taking to Instagram to share the exciting news from the sweet moment, writing in the caption, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨."
The update included several photos that saw Kelce getting down on one knee and popping the question to the "Shake It Off" crooner, surrounded by bright flowers, along with the moment that Swift said "yes."
As Parade previously reported, the surprise engagement comes after the celebrity couple's romance took center stage in 2023, after Kelce pitched himself to Swift on his podcast, New Heights, which he shares with his brother, Jason Kelce. Shortly after, they debuted their romance when the pop star came to support the football star at one of his games, sitting alongside his mother, Donna Kelce, in a private suite.
Following the engagement, plenty of celebrities, fans and brands reacted to the news, with congratulations pouring in from all around the world.
Swift previously mentioned Olive Garden in her track "no body, no crime," from her ninth studio album evermore, revealing collaborator Este Haim from the band HAIM picked Olive Garden as her favorite restaurant to be at on a Tuesday night.
