West Ham fell to defeat against Wolves despite taking the lead on two occasions at Molineux.
West Ham made the trip to face Wolves on Tuesday (26 August) and looked to have secured victory when the Aston Villa-linked Lucas Paqueta made it 2-1.
In the end, the London Stadium club threw the victory away as substitute Jorgen Strand Larsen netted a two-minute double to snatch the win for Vitor Pereira’s side.
This will ultimately pile additional pressure on Graham Potter after three defeats on the bounce in all competitions to begin the campaign.
With that being said, there was still one Jarrod Bowen moment that caught the eye for the Irons that shone through on yet another frustrating night for the claret and blue faithful.

West Ham moment stuns at Molineux
There has been very little positivity to speak of in East London this season, with West Ham opening the season with defeats to Chelsea and Sunderland in the league.
As a result, the Carabao Cup posed the perfect opportunity to right those wrongs and secure a much-needed win on the road, but West Ham instead frustrated against Wolves.
That looked likely when the Brazil international scored to make it 2-1, but in typical fashion at the moment, the Hammers threw it away.
This was of great frustration to West Ham captain Bowen, who couldn’t contain his frustration at full-time as he so nearly clashed with away fans.
The annoyance of the Irons’ skipper came after a generally positive performance, where a moment of quality caught the eye in the Black Country.

Jarrod Bowen shone for West Ham vs Wolves
As Bowen superbly assisted Paqueta, former Wolves striker David Kelly was left stunned on BBC WM (26 August, 08:50pm).
He said: “What a ball this is from Jarrod Bowen. This is pure class. He has fizzed it in, it is poor defending.
“He’s (Paqueta) run into the box on his own, clear as a whistle, no one around him with a free header from six yards out. The ball in from Bowen is exceptional.
“That’s Jarrod Bowen’s classy left foot, what a ball.”
West Ham would be lost without Jarrod Bowen
There is no hiding away from the lack of true quality in the Irons’ squad right now, with the Englishman representing a class above.
As a result, it is little surprise that transfer links away haven’t been stronger this summer, but that could soon be set to change.
Having appeared to be hugely annoyed by supporters at full-time, Bowen ripped the captain’s armband off before storming back across towards the tunnel at Molineux.

It is unclear at this point what was said, but it didn’t look good.
If this were to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for the forward and the Hammers, it could prove to be the end of any hopes of success this season.
It will be interesting to see what this means for the future of the skipper, but it certainly isn’t a good look.
