Chelsea are now preparing for a London derby with Fulham as they look to build on a superb display against West Ham last time out. The Blues made easy work of the Hammers, but they will likely face a much more organised Cottagers side.

The Blues are also putting plenty of effort into their transfer business, hoping to beat Monday’s deadline to add a couple of new signings while also offloading a host of players. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Garnacho waiting on deal

Chelsea remain interested in a deal to sign Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho, who is likely to end up at Stamford Bridge when all is said an done. The Blues need to replace Noni Madueke, and it seems Garnacho is willing to wait to make the move.

Fabrizio Romano has posted on X: “Alejandro Garnacho and Chelsea, deal remains very advanced with all parties expected it to happen. Garnacho has rejected new approach from Saudi Pro League in last 48h, he only wants Chelsea as destination.”

Jackson update

Nicolas Jackson is on his way out of Stamford Bridge, and amid interest from Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, the striker’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, has suggested that a departure of some sort is upcoming. He was quoted: “30 goals in two seasons, without a single penalty. Highs, lows… but a page is turning at the Blues. Always grateful for yesterday, but already looking toward tomorrow, with optimism.

“Germany, Italy, England: the options are numerous, the decision is imminent. Thank you for the support, we see your messages…Nicolas Jackson, transfer expected within 48 hours, in shaa Allah…”

Chukwuemeka deal confirmed

Chelsea will make their money back on Carney Chukwuemeka, who has now joined Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell with the German club last season.

A club statement confirmed: “Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has completed a permanent move to Borussia Dortmund. Signed from Aston Villa in August 2022, Chukwuemeka made 32 first-team appearances and scored two goals for the Blues.

“The 21-year-old featured five times for Chelsea last term, with his most recent outing coming in our UEFA Conference League win over Astana. The England Under-21 international spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Dortmund, where he made 17 appearances, including four at the Club World Cup, where Chelsea were victorious. We want to thank Carney for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
