
The majority of collegiate football players around the country share one ultimate goal: To play in the NFL.
Included in that are most, if not all of the North Carolina football players on the 2025 roster. The Tar Heels have consistently produced NFL talent, most recently with Omarian Hampton, the 22nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Of the 15, seven were brought in by Larry Fedora and eight were brought in by Mack Brown. And of those eight, two were transfers. So only six players that went to UNC as freshmen in the Brown era and remained at UNC are on NFL rosters. A seventh is Storm Duck.
