Wide receiver Malik Heath doesn’t have to find a new job after he successfully made it o theGreen Bay Packers’ 53-man roster on Tuesday. Heath will be playing his third season in the NFL in 2025, as he looks to contribute much more meaningful numbers to the Jordan Love-led passing attack. Heath already got a good omen about his chances to make the cut when the Packers decided tolet go of three-time Super Bowl championand former Patrick Mahomes weapon, Mecole Hardman.
Heath joins Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Matthew Golden and Savion Williams in the Packers’ wide receiver room heading into the 2025 campaign. Christian Watson is the other wide receiver in Green Bay’s fold, but he is on the Physically unable to perform list. Apart from Hardman, the other wide receivers cut by the Packers are Julian Hicks, Cornelius Johnson, Will Sheppard and Isaiah Neyor.

On social media, Heath reflects on his journey in the NFL with a short but powerful message he wrote on a photo that shows him seemingly signing his jersey for a fan.

Heath was undrafted in 2023, but was given a chance by the Packers, who signed him to a contract following that year’s NFL draft.
