PSG Midfielder Linked to WSL Club Despite Long-Term Contract

[Grace Geyoro](https://x.com/AchilleA1/status/1960121251076157676) has been linked with a move to Chelsea, according to Achille Ash. The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is under contract with the French club until 2028 but has reportedly not reported for training. She is said to be pushing for a transfer, as ‘the club has not honored the commitments made’ during her last contract extension. Chelsea have shown long-standing interest in the French international, so a move would not come as a surprise.

Geyoro joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 at the age of 15, progressing through the youth ranks before signing her first professional contract in 2016. When she extended her deal in 2023 for another five years, she had already become the most capped player in the squad with over 200 appearances.

On the international stage, Geyoro began with France U16s before moving up through the youth categories, winning the U19 European Championship in 2016. She earned her first senior cap the following year and has since featured at the 2023 World Cup and 2025 Women’s EURO.

Chelsea have announced that midfielder Julia Bartel will spend the 2025/26 season on loan at Atlético Madrid. Bartel joined Chelsea in the summer of 2024 from FC Barcelona, signing a contract running until 2027, and made her debut for the Blues in October that year.

The 21-year-old midfielder gained [Women’s Champions League](https://womenfootball.blog/womens-champions-league/) experience in matches against FC Twente and Celtic, before joining Liverpool on loan for the second half of the season, where she made seven appearances.

Bartel featured for Spain during their U20 World Cup triumph in 2022, earning a place in the Team of the Tournament. The following year she helped Spain secure the U19 European Championship, once again playing in every match. She now joins Atlético Madrid to continue her development in Liga F.
