Newcastle United have submitted another bid to sign Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, totalling around £55m, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Magpies are in the market for a new striker this summer, with speculation continuously surrounding the future of Alexander Isak, who is a target for fellow Premier League side Liverpool. They've been unsuccessful in their pursuit of a new centre-forward so far, with Strand Larsen the latest player they are looking to bring to St James' Park.
The towering striker enjoyed an impressive 2024/2025 campaign at Molineux, scoring 14 non-penalty goals for Vitor Pereira's side. After initially joining on loan for the previous season, Strand Larsen joined permanently earlier in the summer transfer window, but Newcastle are already looking to prise him away from the Midlands club.

Reporting on X, Romano suggested that Newcastle made a late bid on Tuesday night to sign Wolves striker Strand Larsen. The Magpies offered a total package in the region of £55m, but Wolves swiftly rejected their bid, insisting that he won't be sold in the summer transfer window...

Described as a 'fox in the box' by Opta Analyst, Strand Larsen is a tall, physical striker, who has already shown he's capable of scoring goals in the Premier League.
