Everton face Wolves in their next Premier League encounter as they strive for a second successive victory.
Everton defeated Brighton 2-0 in their first competitive game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, thanks to goals from Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner.
Wolves present a very beatable opposition for Everton, although Vitor Pereira will be desperate to record his first win of the campaign.
Now, the referee has been announced for the clash, and he made a significant error in the Merseyside Derby last term.

Michael Oliver to referee Wolves vs Everton at Molineux
Jack Grealish was phenomenal on his full Everton debut, notching two assists against Fabian Hurzeler’s side.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Indeed, he could be the key to unlocking Wolves’ defence when the pair meet on 30 August in gameweek three.
The Premier League have announced that Michael Oliver will referee the clash, with Stuart Burt and Lee Betts his assistants.
Adam Herczeg will be the fourth official, while Craig Pawson and Nick Hopton will take the reins on VAR.
Last weekend, Jordan Pickford saved Danny Welbeck’s penalty after VAR intervened on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s handball.

What error did Michael Oliver make in the Merseyside Derby?
Everton and Liverpool played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Goodison Park last season, and the match was predictably packed with controversy.
The Toffees took the lead in the 11th minute through Beto, who slotted home after Jarrad Branthwaite’s intelligent free-kick.
However, former Premier League referee Keith Hackett criticised Oliver for awarding a foul on Ndiaye by Alexis Mac Allister.
Oliver has dished out one yellow card this season, but no reds
He is yet to award a penalty
The referee has awarded an average of 19.5 fouls
“Paul the first one was his award of a free kick to Everton from which they scored. There was NO foul. I counted at least four more where fouls were awarded and there was no offence.” he said on his X account in February.

In a separate post, Hackett added: “Simon, it was not a good performance and you are spot on with the avoidable yellow to [Andy] Robertson. The free kick was awarded to Everton from which the first goal was scored by the home team. There was NO foul.
“There was a lot wrong in this performance from Oliver. You are only as good as your last game. I would not be happy with that effort by him.”
While that decision went in Everton’s favour, Moyes will be hoping that he does not have to rely on officials next weekend.
Although the Merseyside outfit will head into the match confident, they cannot afford to be complacent against Wolves.
