West Ham fell to yet another defeat on Tuesday as they crashed out of the Carabao Cup in a 3-2 loss to Wolves.
It was another shocking performance as two late goals saw the visitors’ lead collapse.
Many of West Ham’s stars were awful against Wolves, with Jarrod Bowen one of the few players who could have held his head high at full-time.
The captain picked up an assist for Lucas Paqueta’s goal but was unable to carry Graham Potter’s side to a victory.
However, Bowen was part of some controversial scenes at the full-time whistle after a confrontation with fans.

Keith Hackett – Jarrod Bowen shouldn’t face FA sanction
At full-time, the players went over to applaud the travelling supporters. However, West Ham captain Bowen appeared to take offence at something said.
From here, the England international had to be stopped from going over the advertising boards and then walked away from the stands, taking his captain’s armband off.

Bowen has since apologised for the incident at full-time
Looking back on the incident, Keith Hackett spoke exclusively to West Ham Zone.
He said: “Passion runs through this West Ham player.
“He will be hurting from this result, and if something was shouted towards him, then he was right to be upset.
“It’s an overreaction, and I do not expect anything further.
“I understand that Bowen has taken to social media to apologise.”
West Ham fans are currently doing more harm than good
While West Ham fans are right to be angry at how this season has gone, currently, they are doing more harm than good.
The supporters need to get around and help the players who are clearly struggling at the moment.

However, going after Bowen is ridiculous, and the winger could well prove to be the difference between survival and relegation this season.
While Bowen has since apologised for the scenes against Wolves, the Hammers fanbase needs to change their stance towards the team if results are to turn around.
