Nottingham Forest are working hard to get new full-backs into the club before the transfer deadline next week.
The Reds are going to be in search of two new players to provide cover for Neco Williams and Ola Aina, whilst Nuno Espirito Santo also fancies a new goalkeeper.
Forest signed Douglas Luiz around a week ago and his arrival made it eight summer signings for the Reds, as they look to ensure the squad is well stocked ahead of the Europa League campaign.
Now, it would seem as though the Reds might be getting ever closer to adding to their ranks at right-back with a former teammate of Luiz’s keen to come to Forest.

Nottingham Forest agree personal terms with Nicolo Savona
According to Tutto Juve, Savona is the subject of a bid from Forest, but their opening offer of £9 million won’t be accepted by the Old Lady.
Juventus are looking for around £17 million in order to do business on their full-back and that might mean the Reds chucking some hefty add-ons into the deal.
Mirko Di Natale claimed that Savona is keen on signing for Forest and has already agreed on the proposed personal terms offered to him by the club.
Savona is a product of the youth academy in Turin, and although he was recently injured at the Club World Cup, he has now returned to full training and is raring to go this season.

Savona could be ideal addition to Forest ranks
It’s great that Forest appear to be targeting players who have some sort of relationship with a current player at the City Ground and that should aid the transition process.
Savona has an uncompromising physique for a full-back and at 22-years-old, he does come to Forest with a very nice profile given that he might well improve.
The youngster has made 40 appearances for the first team with Juventus and boasts experience of playing in the Champions League for the club.
With that in mind, he could provide very useful backup for Aina in the Forest team and with the African Cup of Nations coming in January, the Reds have to make sure they get the right-back signing bang on.
