One of football’s ‘best ever’ goalkeepers is to appear at Grimsby Auditorium this autumn. Peter Schmeichel was between the sticks for Manchester United in the ‘glory days’ of the 1990s when he built up a reputation as arguably ‘one the greatest goalkeepers in Premier League history’ during a famous run of title wins.

The Dane is set to appear at the venue at a special event presented by Nor-Lait Promotions. Schmeichel will take part in a ‘live and unscripted interview’ on Saturday, October 11 when he’ll be sharing ‘plenty of stories’ about his incredible football career.

The event will be an unmissable night for fans and promises to be ‘a memorable experience to be part of’. Simon North is the director of event operations at Nor-Lait sporting events Ltd and has "put the show together".

Simon has been involved in organising numerous appearances by sporting stars with top names in the mix including one featuring professional boxer Tyson Fury. Other stars such as Ryan Giggs and Bryan Robson have appeared at previous events.
