Wolves progressed to the third round of the Carabao Cup last night with Jorgen Strand Larsen hitting a brace, but fans are now waiting to see what his fate will be.
Strand Larsen has been the subject of intense speculation in the last few days, with Newcastle ramping up their efforts to sign him.
On Monday, Newcastle saw a £50 million bid for Strand Larsen rejected.
Last night, they came back with a £55 million offer, which was also turned down.
But Strand Larsen is said to want the move to Newcastle, and fans are bracing for more developments.
Last night, Vitor Pereira was asked about Wolves’ number nine – and his response will not fill fans with confidence.

Wolves came from behind to beat West Ham 3-2 last night at Molineux in the Carabao Cup.
It was an important win, and a result that will hopefully boost confidence after a tough start in the Premier League.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Pereira’s substitutions changed the game for Wolves, and Strand Larsen popped up with two goals – reminding everyone of his quality.
But Wolves fans could not enjoy the two strikes from Strand Larsen for too long.
After the game, Pereira was asked about his number nine and the interest from Newcastle, and he failed to assure supporters that he would still be here in the coming days.
He said: “If it’s my decision, of course (I want to keep him), because he’s a very important player
“It’s not only about the technical and tactical (ability), it’s about the character. He’s a player with character.
“I can imagine his mind in this moment because he’s listened to a lot of things, read a lot of things, and he’s kept his commitment.
"I understand football, every player has a price."

“He goes on to help the team. In the last minutes I also asked him to go and help as a centre-back. He’s a team player, a top player in my opinion.
“Until now Jorgen is our player, a very important player for us and we’ll see what happens.
“I understand football, every player has a price, I believe. Even Messi or Cristiano. But, for me, he’s very important for us and we’ll see what happens.”
“In my career I’ve known a lot of players in this situation and they asked me not to play, but Larsen wants to play every time and wants to help the team.
“He will never force (a move), but of course we know football is football. We must be ready for everything.”
Wolves seem set to sell Strand Larsen
Between these comments from Pereira, and one claim suggesting Strand Larsen wants the move to Newcastle, it now seems unlikely that he’ll be staying at Molineux.
It would be a huge shame for him to depart, especially as it was relatively unforeseen, and comes after the likes of Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Pablo Sarabia all left the club.
It is thought that Wolves could accept a total package of £60 million for Strand Larsen.
Although the timing is awful, this would undoubtedly be above his true market value.

Wolves fans will just hope that Domenico Teti can pull something out of the bag with regards to a suitable replacement.
Wolves have been linked with Christantus Uche, but ideally Wolves would need another player on top of him if Strand Larsen does go as is now expected.
