One of the players who Chelsea were very keen to move on this summer has finally officially departed, and he got his wish with where he has landed.
Carney Chukwuemeka was clearly not in the plans of Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge right now, and he has now made the move to Borussia Dortmund.
Aaron Anselmino will also join the Bundesliga side, however his switch is only on loan as the Blues still see a future for him in West London.
Chukwuemeka was left disappointed at Chelsea after a deal was not agreed before the new season got underway. His one start in the Conference League last season had made it clear he was not going to play any sort of role this season.

Chelsea include 30% sell-on clause in Carney Chukwuemeka sale
Original reports had claimed Chelsea were holding out for as much as £40m to sell Chukwuemeka, however the fee ended up being closer to £24m.
However, the Blues have looked to cover themselves in the future by installing a sell-on clause into the sale. According to The Sun, they will receive 30% of any fee Dortmund get if they part ways in the future.
The Bundesliga side are pretty well known for being more of a selling club, and that was further enforced when Jamie Gittens made the move to Chelsea earlier this summer.
Chelsea have already made a profit on Chukwuemeka, however they will be looking to other player sales to help them out before the window closes.

Chukwuemeka sale won’t help Chelsea amid UEFA sanction
Chelsea were fined earlier this summer by UEFA for breaking financial rules, and need to sell players in order to allow them to register their new additions in their Champions League squad.
However, the sale of Chukwuemeka won’t help Chelsea with their FFP problems as he was not one of the players registered in their Conference League squad for the second half of last season.
The likes of Noni Madueke and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have so far bolstered the Blues in this area, but there are more players they are still trying to move on.
Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku could both still be sold before Monday’s deadline, and would both pave the way for a potential deal to sign Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.
