Mikel Arteta has hinted at more signings
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is not finished bolstering his squad just yet as the Gunners are preparing to make room for a new arrival.
The Premier League contenders aim to offload defender Jakub Kiwior. But finding a replacement for the Polish international isn't the only item on the London club's agenda. Kiwior, who made the switch to Arsenal from Spezia in 2023, has been a hot commodity this summer.
Crystal Palace have shown interest, as have several Italian clubs, but Porto seem to be leading the race, with Arsenal set to make a modest profit from the deal. Arsenal have insisted that they don't need to sell in order to secure the services of Piero Hincapie, who is expected to fill Kiwior's shoes as an option at left centre-back and left-back.
It has now come to light that the Gunners have been keeping tabs on four other young talents for potential separate deals. As per The Mail, two of these players are defenders and two are midfielders. One of them has already transferred this summer but could be a prospect for the future. Here's the least transfer targets at the Emirates.

In defence, Jon Martin, 19, and Arnau Martinez, 19, are reportedly on Arsenal's radar. Girona right-back Martinez has attracted attention from other Premier League clubs, while fellow Spanish star Martin began making waves at Real Sociedad last season, reports the Mirror.
Spain U21 player Martinez is a product of Barcelona's famous youth system La Masia. Mainly a right-back, he can also play as a centre-back.
Spain U19 star Martin plays as a centre-back and is right-footed. Spanish news website Onda Vasca writes that he "has excellent heading ability... often finishes off many set pieces... and [has] refined technique for playing the ball".
New Essien?
Midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi, 19, is another player who has been tracked by Arsenal's recruitment team. The teenager earned his first senior Ghana caps this year, and is a product of the same Right to Dream academy that boasts alumni such as Mohammed Kudus and Simon Adingra.
Now playing for Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland, his performances led to the media beginning to draw comparisons between him and Ghana legend Michael Essien.

Further up the pitch, Israeli international Oscar Gloukh has reportedly caught Arsenal's eye. The 21-year-old has already experienced Champions League football with Red Bull Salzburg but made the move to Ajax this summer, meaning he's a talent the Gunners will have to monitor for now.
The winger, who has three goals for his country, was the youngest Israeli footballer ever to score in the Champions League at 19 and the first to play and score in the Club World Cup last month, when still at Salzburg.
Ajax technical director Alex Kroes stated about the Israeli: "Oscar is an attacking midfielder who is both creative and talented, contributing goals and assists. He's also an intelligent player with excellent vision, and he is exceptionally eager to learn and ambitious. In our talks, he made it clear that Ajax as the ideal club for his development. His decision to choose Ajax’s sporting project over big money says everything about his character and mentality."

Arsenal have already been active this summer, with Eberechi Eze being the most recent addition. England star Eze could make his debut against Liverpool this weekend, and Arteta discussed the £68m man's arrival after Saturday's victory over Leeds.
"You could feel it in the last 24 hours that something was happening and our supporters and the way they reacted and what he brought immediately is something special," Arteta told Sky Sports.
"We signed a player with an enormous talent and a massive impact in this league and on top of that a player that has massive feelings for this football club - he has made it very clear, his family have made it very clear, you can sense that. I missed it [the unveiling] but I just spoke to him and he had a massive smile on his face, so welcome to the family."
