Alexander Isak should pay close attention to what Jorgen Strand Larsen has said amid transfer interest from Newcastle United.
Newcastle have had two bids rejected for Strand Larsen, with a third offer potentially on the way. All the while, he continues to play for Wolves.
He even scored on Tuesday night, netting a brace as Wolves came from behind to beat West Ham United 3-2 in the Carabao Cup second round.
At Newcastle United, Alexander Isak is refusing to play. He missed all of pre-season and has sat out the Magpies’ opening two Premier League games.
Isak still wants to leave Newcastle, and is doing whatever it takes to force through a move to Liverpool. It has ruined his legacy on Tyneside, having scored the winner in the Carabao Cup final back in March.

Jorgen Strand Larsen focused on Wolves’ next game despite Newcastle United interest
While Isak sits at home, Strand Larsen is continuing to show incredible professionalism despite speculation over his future.
It has been reported that Strand Larsen wants to join Newcastle, but that is not stopping him from continuing to represent Wolves.
That is epitomised by what he told Wolves’ official website immediately after their win over West Ham.

“We all know that the most important thing for us now is to focus on Saturday and get back winning in the Premier League,” he said.
“But this is what we need. We need to come back in these games and show that we have the spirit, show that the team is ready, and definitely that we can be difficult to play against at our home stadium, at Molineux.
“It’s really important for us because we would all be going home with our heads down if we lost 2-1 again tonight.”
Jorgen Strand Larsen is showing Yoane Wissa up too
Strand Larsen’s comments should be food for thought for Yoane Wissa too.
Newcastle have been trying to sign Wissa for what feels like an eternity, but have been unable to get a deal over the line. The 28-year-old has been trying to force through a move to Tyneside, such is his desire to play for Eddie Howe’s side.
However, that has resulted in him missing Brentford’s opening two Premier League games of the season. Wissa’s actions are similar to Isak’s, which is not a good look at all. Newcastle United fans will not condone what Wissa is doing just because he wants to move to St James’ Park.
In the end, he could miss out on the transfer he is desperate for. Strand Larsen is currently Newcastle’s top target, and his professionalism amid the ongoing situation will have been noted by the Magpies’ decision makers.
