Our Under-18s face a quick rematch with Reading in the opening game of the Under-18 Premier League Cup today (Wednesday 27 August, 12pm UK, live on SPURSPLAY).
Our youngsters hosted the Royals on the opening weekend of the league season, battling back from 2-0 down with 10 men to **[secure a deserved point from a 2-2 draw](https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2025/august/academy-10-man-under-18s-battle-back-to-draw-with-reading/)**.
Now, Reading are back at Hotspur Way as we face them again in the first of three group stage matches in the cup.
Burnley and Derby County are also in our group, but with only the top sides from each of the eight sections going through this season, a positive result in today’s opener will be key to our hopes of progressing to the knockout phase.
