Largie Ramazani is edging towards the exit door at Leeds United.

Ramazani only signed for Leeds from Almeria last summer as Daniel Farke looked to build a squad ready to earn promotion from the Championship.

The German managed to do that at Elland Road, but didn’t truly get much out of the Belgian winger, as his minutes were generally limited.

As a result, an exit could prove to benefit all parties before the 1 September transfer deadline, especially after Noah Okafor signed for Leeds from AC Milan as a versatile forward option.

With that being said, it appears that an exit deal is accelerating towards completion for Ramazani as a move away from LS11 looks likely.

Largie Ramazani edging towards Leeds exit

Ramazani is on the verge of a Leeds exit, with a loan-to-buy move to Valencia after just one full season in Yorkshire.

This may not come as a surprise after the former Manchester United youngster was an unused substitute on the opening day of the campaign against Everton.

A move seemingly edged closer in the days after the 1-0 win as Ramazani missed out on the matchday squad against Arsenal, as the Whites fell to a heavy defeat away from home.

Now, the wide man’s days are seemingly numbered at Elland Road as a deal with the LaLiga side edges closer to completion.

This comes after Spanish newspaper Levante EMV reported (27 August, page 34) that the Belgian is the main target of Valencia right now.

The Mestalla club have made progress in accelerating a deal, with just hours remaining at Leeds after missing out on the Sheffield Wednesday defeat on Tuesday, 26 August.

This could now see Ramazani link up with the former Whites coach Carlos Corberan, although an agreement over a loan fee hangs in the balance right now.

Leeds United may regret Largie Ramazani exit

There is no getting away from the fact that the winger struggled to be a regular in the second tier last time out.

With that being said, some players make the step up to the Premier League and perform better in a different division against different players.

That has been seen with Wilfried Gnonto in recent years, something which Ramazani could have replicated this campaign, even after being a bit-part player last year.

Largie Ramazani rarely featured for Leeds United last season

It doesn’t appear that he will be given the opportunity to do so, but a move to Valencia does show the level that the Belgian can play at.

There will certainly be one eye on the attacker in LaLiga to see whether the Whites will regret letting him go this summer.
