Newcastle United and Aston Villa in picture as club ask‘ridiculous fee’of€90m

Aston Villa and Newcastle United remain in the picture for Nicolas Jackson, but Chelsea have put a ‘ridiculous fee’ of €90m on his head.

That’s [according to BILD](https://www.bild.de/), who cover the striker today as Bayern Munich are very much involved in the bidding for him also.

They explain the Chelsea striker is set to become the player Bayern focus their efforts on in the final days of the window, despite sporting director Max Eberl having denied as much.

The belief is that a deal could go through quickly, particularly as BILD have learned that Bayern already have a personal agreement in place with the Chelsea striker.

Bayer sporting director Christoph Freund has also stoked the rumours by not denying them, instead going for “I’m not denying anything” when asked about the forward.

According to BILD Bayern aren’t the only ones in the mix and they report that Aston Villa and Newcastle have also showed an interest in him.

This is partly confirmed by his agent, Diomansy Kamara, who admitted it’s “Germany, Italy, England: There are many options, and the decision is imminent” when asked about his client’s future.

Bayern only want the striker on loan, while Chelsea would prefer to sell. But they are demanding a ‘ridiculous fee’ of €90m for Jackson.

Aston Villa and Newcastle seem unlikely to ever pay that, and Bayern don’t want to either. It remains to be seen if Chelsea change their demands to get him out of the door.
