The Buffalo Bills’ initial 53-man roster is set.
Buffalo and every other team in the league trimmed their rosters down to 53 players on Tuesday.
Now, our attention turns to waiver claims and filling the practice squad. At noon today, Wednesday, August 26, waiver claims will end. That is when we will learn if any players released by the Bills were claimed elsewhere across the league and placed on other teams’ 53-man rosters. Once claims are in, teams can then start filling their practice squads.
The practice squad can hold up to six veterans in addition to players who were waived one day ago. Teams also have an additional spot for an International Pathway Player. Veteran defensive tackle Jordan Phillips will take one of the veteran spots this season.
Who else will join Phillips on the practice squad? Here’s the latest news, reports and rumors on Buffalo’s 2025 practice squad.
