Nottingham Forest landed Dan Ndoye in the summer for a fee close to £34 million, and he’s made a decent start to life in the Premier League.
Ndoye was praised by Nuno Espirito Santo after his goal-scoring debut against Brentford and he registered an assist for Callum Hudson-Odoi away at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
There are clearly some things for Ndoye to get used to in England, with the Italian top-flight renowned for being a more defence-minded and pragmatic division.
Although Ndoye looks to be settling into his new surroundings, Forest might be about to make a signing that can only bode well when it comes to helping him get his feet under the table even quicker.

Nottingham Forest want Victor Kristiansen
According to reports, Forest are stepping up their attempts to sign Kristiansen from Leicester, with a deal worth £10 million being considered by the Foxes.
Kristiansen was part of the Leicester team that went down with a whimper last season, but at 22-years-old there are signs that he will have significant potential and act as something of a project.
Forest have Neco Williams currently playing as the left-back in the team, but with European football on the cards this season, extra options will be required.
Kristiansen does feel like the left-back who is closest to a move to Forest and he will leave Leicester having made 45 appearances for the Foxes having joined from Bologna – where he played alongside Ndoye.

Kristiansen and Ndoye have success together
Kristiansen might not have pulled up any trees with Leicester but playing alongside poor players in a struggling season, perhaps, isn’t a good barometer.
At Bologna, Kristiansen experienced different successes and was a regular in the team during the 2023/24 campaign when the club qualified for the Champions League with a fifth-place finish.
During that campaign, Ndoye and Kristiansen played in the same team on 28 occasions and remarkably tasted defeat on just two occasions.
The defeats came against Fiorentina, who had Nikola Milenkovic in their team and Inter, when the Bergamo-based team were narrowly beaten 1-0.
The pair averaged 2.07 points per game when they were in the same team together and quite clearly, the two had some sort of understanding as teammates.
Having Ndoye around to help him settle at the City Ground might bode well and it will be interesting to see how Kristiansen performs on Trentside if the deal does go through.
