Stephen Curry thinks that Kevin Durant absolutely deserve to win both Finals MVP's in seasons where they won rings together.
Golden State Warriors created a dynasty like never seen before in NBA during last decade.
Stephen Curry was an instrumental part of it, and at some point he joined forces with Kevin Durant too.
Durant won both Finals MVP awards during their time together, but Curry claims that it was fully deserved.
"Yeah, the idea of me being in the conversation, I couldn't run from it because we've been to 4 straight Finals up to that point, we've won three out of four," Curry started in his latest interview in China.
"I guess I was close in 2018, I had a bad Game 3 and KD played unbelievable the entire series. If you're playing for the Finals MVP you're probably not going to get it done, as you'll be distracted and might sabotage yourself."
"Now that I think about it, I was close in 2018 too, but never mind, I'd rather get rings than Finals MVP, but KD really deserved those two [Finals MVP's].
