his was spirited performance by the team on the day where they battled from behind to win the game.

It started badly for Wolves when they went behind in the first two minutes of the game when Leon Osman who was making his first start in the premier league after been setup by James McFadden to head home from six yards to give Everton the lead.

Wolves struggled after that to contain the Everton pressure with Paul Jones the Wolves goalkeeper keeping the home side in the game with Wayne Rooney hitting his shot wide of the goal along with Tomasz Radzinski having a effort on goal which was well saved.

Then Wolves responded well after this pressure with Henri Camara forced Alessandro Pistone to clear shot away from goal and. Mark Kennedy hitting a 25 yard shot just over the bar and with Wolves still pressing nearly got a goal back in the game when Henri Camara curled his shot inches wide of the post after been setup by Colin Cameron from the edge of the Everton box.

Then before half time Everton we’re guilty of missing two chances to extend the lead further in the game when a Paul Butler mistake allowed James McFadden to run clear only for Paul Ince to make a goal saving tackle and Wayne Rooney missed a golden chance in the game when the ball went across the face of the goal.
