WAIVER WIRE UPDATE (7AM)
The Browns are second on the waiver wire, right behind the Tennessee Titans, who just barely managed to out-suck the 2024 Cleveland Browns. The waiver wire remains consistent until after the third week of the season, when it flips from relying on 2024 records to the current 2025 season. The wire doesn't "flip" like a fantasy league draft. In other words, the first-position Titans will follow the 32nd-position Eagles as players are picked up on the wire.
We expect to start hearing real, verifiable news around Noon today. There have been rumors that the Browns may be trying to do something to land a proven vet at the WR position, but little buzz on that in the last day or so.
