Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur is drawing interest from the Premier League and Serie A with West Ham keen, according to Tutto Mercato Web.
Hull City have had a turbulent summer, giving Sergej Jakirovic plenty of work to do in the opening months of his HCAFC tenure.
The summer transfer window has had the lurking cloud of registration limitations with the Tigers punished for failed payments in Louie Barry’s loan. As such, they have been limited to free transfers and temporary deals, but it hasn’t prevented them from making some notable additions.

However, as the end of the summer nears, eyes are turning to someone who could move away from the MKM Stadium.
According to Italian news outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Hull City goalkeeper Ivor Pandur is drawing significant late interest from both the Premier League and Serie A.

Only East London strugglers West Ham are named in this report, but it is said that it is not out of the question that the 25-year-old leaves HCAFC for a top flight club before the window ends at 7pm on September 1st.
Pandur joined the Tigers in the winter of 2024 and is under contract until 2027, with an option to extend by 12 months included too.

West Ham move for Ivor Pandur would certainly raise eyebrows
It certainly isn’t out of the question that someone moves to try and prise Pandur away from Hull City before the end of the summer transfer window. The Croatian was a standout player last season and could arguably take his talents to a higher level.

However, a move to the Hammers would really surprise many considering they have just signed a new number one in Mads Hermansen, who has checked in from Leiceester City.
The Hammers still have Alphonse Areola on the books as solid cover and competition too, while Wes Foderingham is the third choice. It makes it an unattractive destination for Pandur, who will want to start, and an uneccesary signing for West Ham given the depth they already have.

Hull City’s goalkeeping options
Hull City will be eager to avoiding losing Pandur at such a late stage in the summer transfer window. It would mean they have little time to get a replacement in, which is far from ideal given they arguably need another goalkeeper as it is.
Most clubs usually have three senior shot-stoppers but in the sought-after Pandur and summer signing Dillon Phillips, HCAFC only have two.

Signing one more will give them ample cover if one of their current options is cast to the sidelines. Finding a new number one with such little time left would be a real challenge though, so if bids are to be made, expect the Tigers to do all they can to stand firm.
