Alisson Becker’s wife Natalia has expressed her delight after her husband achieved another career milestone. Natalia has been married to the Brazilian since 2015 and they have three children together, Helena, Matteo and Rafael.

Alisson remains Liverpool’s number one goalkeeper despite the highly rated Giorgi Mamardashvili joining the Reds this summer from Valencia. He has started in both of Liverpool’s wins so far in the Premier League this season against Bournemouth at Anfield and Newcastle at St James’ Park. The pair remain proud of their Brazilian privilege however and regularly visit their home country.

Therefore, Natalia was delighted to hear that her husband has been called up to the Brazil national team for their upcoming World Cup qualification matches.

Brazil manager and former Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has named the 32-year-old in his squad to face Chile on September 4 at the Maracana and Bolivia on September 9 in El Alto.

Alisson has played 74 matches for Brazil, representing his nation at several Copa America and World Cup tournaments.

The news of Alisson’s call-up was shared by his agency on Monday night. Natalia responded by sharing the post on her story and leaving a message which said: “So proud, let's go for another one.”

Natalia has recently undergone an operation, which prompted her husband to leave the Reds' pre-season tour of Japan this summer earlier than planned.

She later shared an update to confirm she was recovering after the surgery. A translation of the post said: "Post op pic portrait of a real life. Now I'm recovering at home.

"Thank God, to the wonderful team that served me and all the love I received, everything is evolving well. Thanks to all who sent messages."

Natalia later thanked her husband in an Instagram message to mark Father’s Day in their native Brazil.

A translation of the post said: "Ali, since you became a father, my admiration for you has only grown. Our children are privileged. And what I love most is that you manage to be the loving, present, and protective father each one needs, in their own unique way.

"Helena's father, Matteo's father, and Rafael's father...the same person, but with a special focus on each need and personality.

“May God bless you, continue to bless you, and may they always experience and learn from God's love through your life. I love you."

Alisson will play his final game before the international break this Sunday when Liverpool face title rivals Arsenal at Anfield. The match will kick off at 4.30pm.
